Kinbell

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This is a translation for your convenience; the French version prevails.

In short: Kinbell only keeps what your family needs to share its organisation. No ads, no selling of data, no tracking.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

Yoann Bournot, publisher of the Kinbell app (see the legal notice).
Contact: contact@kinbell.fr

2. What data?

Kinbell does not collect your phone number: an invitation is a text message you send yourself from your phone. Kinbell does not access your contacts, your location or your photos. Your wake-up time and notification settings stay on your phone.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

No data is used for advertising or profiling, and none is sold.

4. Who can see it?

Only the members of your family can see your family's items. Permissions are checked by the server: a child can only change what they created.

We use technical service providers, who only use your data to provide this service to us:

5. For how long?

6. Security

Exchanges between the app and the server are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to each family's data is restricted to its members by security rules enforced directly in the database.

7. Your rights

You can at any time access your data, correct it, delete it, request a copy or object to its use, by writing to contact@kinbell.fr. We reply within one month at most.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.

8. Children

A child can be part of the family, added and managed by a parent. Kinbell asks for no data about them other than a first name, a colour and, if the parent wishes, a date of birth.

9. This website

The kinbell.fr website uses no cookies and no audience measurement tools. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated, and we let you know in the app in case of a significant change.
